Individuals often hold ambivalent attitudes (i.e., positive and negative attitudes at the same time) toward groups and social categories. The aim of the present research was to examine the differential effects of affective and cognitive dimensions of ambivalence on the (amplification of) responses towards a minority group. This conceptual study answers how engagement is defined and conceptualized in the mobile service/technology context. A systematic literature review was conducted in the fields of business and human-computer interactions to achieve this objective. Assessing Online Collaborative Problem Solving Among School Children in Finland : A Case Study Using ATC21S TM in a National Context

Online collaborative problem-solving tasks were piloted in five Finnish schools participating in the Assessment and Teaching of Twenty-first Century Skills (ATC21STM) project. Process stream data from online tasks were captured from 480 Finnish students who explored dyad problem spaces. The log file data were explored to identify indicative behaviours of collaborative problem solving (CPS), which were coded into a series of dichotomous indicators. When is Meaning in Life Most Beneficial to Young People? Styles of Meaning in Life and Well-Being Among Late Adolescents

The purpose of this article was to investigate the relationships between different dimensions of meaning in life and subjective and psychological well-being (PWB) among late adolescents. Three hundred and eighty four Polish participants completed The Personal Meaning Profile scale, The Satisfaction With Life Scale, The Positive and Negative Affect Schedule, The PWB scale, and the Meaning in Life Questionnaire. A Comparative Assessment of Listening Span and Self-Efficacy in Simultaneous Interpreting Training

This study compares the results obtained from a group of interpreting trainees in an adapted listening span test (cognitive dimension), with those obtained from this same group in two self-efficacy tests (personality dimension). The objective is to assess the predictive value of these tests with respect to the scores obtained by the subjects in a simultaneous interpreting test.
